The shields are easy to duplicate since you only need to recreate the face. Use Sculpey to make a simple push mold, or liquid latex for a flexible mold. Check the tutorials section for something similar and modify the process you see there.

Works fine for simple armor pieces too, you can just glue them on like Edgy said.

Swords/knives would be similar, but you would have to make a push mold of each half, then glue the cast halves together and clean up as needed.

Might I suggest getting some "silicon mold" to replicate the shield and weapons in clay. you can also usd it to make armor duplicats as well that can be glues to figures. Might be cheapper then opening carded figures. Best of luck!!!!!

Thanks, though I've been getting them from ebay for $12 to $15. It's way more convenient than having to cast stuff and buy all the equipment (and suffer all the errors) associated with that.

Hey, I don't have any extra troops, but have you considered casting your own from resin with silicone molds? I've taken apart a ML Prof. X and cast each part, which was a serious undertaking and a pain in the arse....

Specifically, I want heads that are direct representations of the how she looks in the comic, as the artist Gurihiru has drawn her. I need them in the same marvel legends scale as the current gwenpool figure, who is a similar size to the ML spider-girl, or Nico mendez. For anyone wanting heads who has access to a 3D printer, you could try this software https://www.3dflow.net/3df-zephyr-pro-3 ... om-photos/

It has a free version. Basically, you take a bunch of pictures of the object at different angles, feed the pictures into the program, and it will automatically create a 3D model of it. It does take a little fiddling to get the model perfect (like masking off unwanted areas of the pictures beforehand), but it looks like a great solution.
