Hey been thinking...Any of you guys know how to fix leg/thigh joints for the mighty large NECA BALROG. My beast is packed away inside a very large storage tub, when he should be on display. Both his legs are snapped off at the thigh joint to his waist. The legs are intact but the leg joints are cactus.

That dude is so big and doesn't move much. Id just epoxy glue them back on. Other wise that new 14 inch hulk has joints that could work if you want a big project

Hey mate..Sometimes at Toy Fairs I can score a bundle of Weapon accessories that someone is selling for my loose figures.
Can you provide a link etc to someone that makes weapon accessories the way your describing..Cheers

The shields are easy to duplicate since you only need to recreate the face. Use Sculpey to make a simple push mold, or liquid latex for a flexible mold. Check the tutorials section for something similar and modify the process you see there.

Works fine for simple armor pieces too, you can just glue them on like Edgy said.

Swords/knives would be similar, but you would have to make a push mold of each half, then glue the cast halves together and clean up as needed.

Might I suggest getting some "silicon mold" to replicate the shield and weapons in clay. you can also usd it to make armor duplicats as well that can be glues to figures. Might be cheapper then opening carded figures. Best of luck!!!!!

for swords and other long weapons you can make 2 part molds. Make a mold of the handle and a small portion of the blade first then when you go to *reproduce* it ( *filling the mold with clay or resin* ) place a wire inside to reinforce it then make a mold of the blade and reproduce it around the reproduced handle and wire .
