sticky putty or secured heads

question for the figure-verse....... do you leave custom figures with sticky putty in the head socket or do you secure them ( so they are no longer removable ) ?
I do both styles but wonder what the general thoughts are .

I've had the best results using Poster tack, you can buy it cheap it doesn't seem to degrade and allows for easy head switching

I generally use sticky putty so I can swap heads but I’ve also wanted to try magnets

I have used magnets in the past... I have found one magnet and a small nail head work best
