Hero Toys Illidan advice

I recently received the Hero Toys totally not Illidan Demon Killer figure a few days ago.

The figure comes with two very large articulated wings. Unfortunately the one wing looks like they used a joint from a hand instead of like the other which has an octagonal head.

I contacted the seller about a replacement and they contacted Hero Toys who is sending a replacement joint which should be 4-6 weeks.

I dont know if it is possible to share an image here. But I was wondering if anyone had a similar situation before with hero toys or otherwise. I don't even know what kind of joint it is yet other than the fact it is a ratcheted joint. I am hesitant to just try and pull on the old one not wanting to break anything. Id probably want to heat it up. But if anyone has any advice id greatly appreciate it. Especially since i dont have much experience with ratcheted joints or how they are assembled. If it is possible I can share a picture.
