Sea King

So I'm slowly upgrading my JLA/CSA shelf over to the forever evil line, just for the variety of characters. However, I'd also like to do a Sea King as part of it, which is a little tougher.

My intent is to use one of the Essentials Aquaman figures as a base (I'm hoping to get the DCeased figure on the cheap down the line) with bits from an Aquaman movie figure, including a Momoa head if I can find one with decent sculpt. However, I'm not sure how to do the armored left arm. I suppose I could sand/sculpt lines into one of his arms, but I'm wondering if anyone here knows how well the joints work with ML or MS parts in case I can save time with a colossus figure.
