Storage help

Posted in Custom Workstation

Hi, I’m after advice on how best to store custom figures when they aren’t out for display. I don’t want to risk storing something and coming back to it at a later date to find the paint has become stuck to whatever i store it in, or turned sticky. My figures are mostly customised with the usual model acrylic paints and some matte varnish.
Thanks

I have a lot of customs in storage and they look as good as when I put them in there. I just put them in sturdy sandwich bags with a little air trapped inside to act as a cushion so they aren't crushed if something lays on them.

Don't use plastic wrap, that stuff can cling to paint so well that when you peel it off it'll tear the paint off with it.

Great thanks, that was my current solution, glad to know my figures should last in them. I’m aware certain plastic bags can make old figures go sticky so I’ll stick with the same bags I use for vintage, with some added air!
