I am saddened to write this note and feel terrible inside but had trouble sleeping last night and eating today after being “ambushed” by a collector that as of yesterday was my #1 buyer but whose future is in his hands right now, I’m hoping for a rainbow. This forum site is new to me and I admit to not doing research as I should have. I also feel it’s my own fault for making rules that I did not follow. I concede that it is my own doing. When I post “one in the world” type samples asking for offers that’s what I hope to get. “How much do you want” is not an answer I can work with because I don’t have time to stay that close to the collector’s hobby. Now that I parted with prototypes that I had since before WWF hit the market, I’m getting emails blasting me for not selling to other collectors. I felt good during the sale and now research is being forwarded that would have been instrumental in producing a value and letting other collectors a chance to grasp the gold. Too much too late. Your collection may be missing a rare figure but financially I’ve lost 47 times that and can’t be replaced. I appreciate the few that understand my feelings and look forward to seeing more of my offerings but please do not send IM’s or emails blaming me for not selling to them after the fact. As a lesson learnt I will stick to my rules, research and negotiate accordingly. Thanks for your understanding and politeness. I will honor the requests of those who asked to be removed from future listings.
