Oops, hit "return" too quick. Ok these are only about 2-3" tall, bendy rubber feel to them. No identifying marks except for CHINA written on them. I've searched high and low and can't seem to figure out what they are or what show/series. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

What is this space soldier miniature from? in Identify Help by Henchmen4Hire
Friday, November 13, 2015
   [Edit]
I got this randomly in a bag of junk. It's incredibly detailed and I'm going to paint it, just wish I knew where it was from. It only had two major seams that I already sanded away, it's stable on it's own with no visible way of attaching it to a base, it's made of flexible plastic like an action figure's arm (PVC probably) not resin.

Back in 1989, Galoob introduced X-PANDERS, a line of military vehicles that, at the touch of a button, could expand and transform into new configurations brisling with weapons. An armored 4x4 changed into a gun battery; a helicopter could become an assault base.

Supplementing the vehicles was a card of 20 action figures. There were 6 different; 4 in combat poses and 2 drivers. These figures were approximately 1 3/16” tall, or 1/60 scale. Chap Mei made very nice copies of the 4 figures in fighting poses and included them in several lines, including Humanoids Vs Lizoid.

Thanks so much! I'm looking them up and finding there were LOTS of sci-fi minis made back then, and they look fantastic. I can't believe the amount of crisp detail on these things, yet larger figures at the time looked like total crap, little more than tumorous blobs of plastic. Looks like all the talent then was working on miniatures.

I do hope this is the correct section to post this. Forgive me if I post this here in error.

Anyway a long long long Time ago around I think 1994 or so (I know it was around then as Power Rangers had just went into it's second season with the Thunderzords and all) I'm in a resell store with my parents. The store was part of a chain called Buds and it was like Biglots meets Goodwill stores. They sold all kinds of things there from knock off toys of things like Lego and Transformers to junk old stereos and raidios. I think they even had video game carts for Resell there bout anything you could think of really.

Anyway one toy I got from the store in 94 was an interesting thing. On that day I found a Transforming Robot toy. It was almost I'd ...[See More]

Probably not it but I thought this looked cool lol, searching for dragon robot toy gives lots of interesting results
[Picture]

Maybe it was a Zoid toy?

Im seeing a lot of generic toys like that that vaguely fit the description. It makes me think maybe it wasn't a bootleg but a generic transforming figure.

Your right on two counts here. One that is indeed a cool figure and two it's sadly not my dragon.

I don't think it could of been a Zoids toy. Takara and Hasbro only started that series in 01 with my dragon beingfrom the 90s or possibly the very late 80s.

Yeah it definitely wasn't a bootleg. Like I said too well built (I broke a Bandai figure from the same era but never the dragon) so I think your right on the possibility of it being a stand alone or a Generic. I found nothing on my last search on google. Not really sure how to narrow my search down and get the right results. Blasted Beast Wars Transmetal 2 Megatron is in every single search I do on transforming robot dragons. ...
Parts for a Lara Croft figure in Identify Help by Rawxden

I don't know if there is a specific forum for this, but it's basically identify help in reverse.
I'm trying to make a 6" Lara Croft figure to scale in with my Marvel Legends. I've already got the head picked out, but I need help finding a torso. In her newest game Lara wears a heavy winter coat that can be seen in the link below:

I'm not the best at heavy sculpting so I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on a good base for the torso?

I'll suggest you practice sculpting asap, youll save yourself a lot of time and money later if you can just sculpt what you need.

The arms should be easy enough to get, there are a few figs like Fury, Faith, guys in suits, etc. that have jacketed arms.

Don't know about the pants, maybe there are female wreslers with pants like that? ...
Bring me the head of Jabba the Hut in Identify Help by jgawne

This is just a funny story from ages past. Long ago there was (and still is) a bargain store known as building 19 in the Boston area. They sell whatever crap they can buy cheap. So just after the first Star Wars figures peaked I was in there one day and they had a case of Jabba heads. Not the body, just the head. Hundreds of them. They generally have fun signs all over the place and this one said they were selling the heads for 19 cents each, and they had no idea what you could do with them, but one of the suggestions was to use it as a cap on a bottle of catsup. I tried really, really hard to come up with reasons to buy a lot of them, but couldn't, so I just bought one (somewhere around the house). To this day I have no idea why they h...[See More]

Can anyone identify this piece ??? in Identify Help by Selficide
Sunday, October 4, 2015
   [Edit]
I got this piece in a parts fodder lot that I bought on eBay....it looks like some kind of arm or leg gauntlet from a 3.75" figure and has an R stamped on the backside of it, I don't recall seeing it on any Marvel universe figures. I am thinking it may be from a G.I. Joe figure and would appreciate it if anyone could tell me what it is from because I'd like to get more of them.

Which Spider-Man figure is this? in Identify Help by Carnivac
Sunday, August 2, 2015
   [Edit]
Bought this Spider-Man figure today at a car boot sale and I like it a lot (been looking for a decent Spidey for a while and didn't like the recent Amazing Spider-Man 2 figure at all) and this one is very well articulated (though some joints are very loose but a bit of glue to stiffen them up will suffice). I tried googling to find out which this is but there are SO MANY Spider-Man figures. I figured people here would be able to help. It's dated 2004 on his feet. Thank you.

Aw hey thanks! I typed that into google and yeah that does seem to be the figure. I really like it a lot. Shoulders are a bit bulbous but overall it's a cool figure with great articulation and I like the head shape and eye size too. I may repaint it to clean it up a bit. Thanks again for the quick help.

It's definitely a legends because that is crazy jointing. I'm betting Marvel Legends Sinister Six. That's the same jointing, weird musculature, and 'dirty' coloration.

This should be the last one. I have some notes, though.

[Picture]

C,D: very very similar to the "I'm shooting" thingy on the Toy Biz Marvel Legends Warmachine. My Warmachine has all its pieces though.

H-J: Spider man something or other, obviously. I don't think I have a Spidy these go with.

L-Q: almost certainly G.I. Joe.
L looks like the sword for Jinx/Slice in the Valor Vs. Venom 2-pack.
M looks a lot like the sword for Storm Shadow in the G.I. Joe vs Cobra Storm Shadow/Snake Eyes 2-pack. But again, for both of these, my matching figures have all their gear.
O fits a G.I. Joe backpack hole. P and Q fit inside O. O also has holes for... something? in that horizontal piece.

R: looks like claws...[See More]

C+D: Look like Toy Biz ML Series 9 War Machine's boot-jets/repulsor attachments to me.

M: Is from the third, 1989 Snake-Eyes figure (although I'm sure it's probably been remolded many times since, but the original was silver like that).

yeah. here's another one.

3 3/4" scale. arms, wrists, left elbow, legs, and neck articulate. Not sure if he has any accessories.
That helmet may or may not be his. Color scheme matches and I'm not sure what else it would belong to.

I have around 60 Star Wars figures, a good dozen of which were handed over to me, probably via a thrift store. I also have some Joes and Pirates of the Caribbean figures at that scale, but I can identify character and series for every one of those, so I'm certain the helmet doesn't belong).

I can't find this color scheme or even the model on any of the checklists I know of or some Googling, so help would be hot....[See More]
