Simpsons (Super7) (Super7)The first wave of Simpsons Ultimates had a guy who serves beer, and now we have a guy who promotes beer. Makes sense, doesn't it?

Duffman is said to be played by many different people in the show, but he always looks the same (is there a bunch of guys who look the same in Springfield?). The man has a somewhat cylindrical head shape, wearing a Duff hat and sunglasses. The sunglasses aren't removable, but there are eyes sculpted and painted underneath, though he doesn't seem to have pupils. The default portrait is a grin, but he also has an open mouth head, as well as a head with a Duff sticker slapped onto his face, coming from "Pygmoelian." The sticker can actually be removed, pegging into the mouth, leaving you with an "oh yeah" expression. All three heads look nice, and the clean paint helps.

At 7 1/2" tall, Duffman wears a sleeveless top with, obviously, the Duff logo on it. The printing is good, but it's too big, taking up the whole torso when it should just be on the chest. The exposed chest hairs are merely painted on, rather than sculpted, but I'm not really complaining. Rounding out the mascot look is a wired fabric cape, integrated into the torso rather than being a separate, removable piece, and a belt with Duff cans all around. The paint is rather well-done on the figure, with little bleed or marks, and it's worth noting the skin on the chest and forearms has a different finish from the head(s) and upper arms, being matte paint rather than a semi-glossy look. It would've been if it was all matte, but it's not a big deal.

Duffman moves about the same as the others in this wave, with a barbell head, swivel/hinge shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees, and ankles, and ball-jointed waist and hips. A chest joint would've been nice, but it also would've broken up the look of the Duff logo too much. The waist has some decent tilt, but the design means it has less range than Bartman and Krusty do in their waists. Aside from that, everything else is pretty good, as the heads swap easily, and the hips allow for thrusting motion. Some of the hinges, namely the elbows, can be a bit tight out of box, but they free up with little effort.

A good number of accessories is included, such as an assortment of hands. There's a relaxed pair on him in the box, but there's also a pair of expressive hands, two extra lefts (closed and devil's horns), and four extra rights (gripping, pointing, saluting, and foam finger). The hands swap easily, and they combined with the extra heads allow for a handful (no pun intended) of display options, but he needed a closed right to go with the left (it bugs me Super7 keeps doing this). For something more episode specific, he has the Duff seven-pack from "What to Expect When Bart's Expecting," and it's a fun inclusion, but it makes me wish some individual cans were included, as I think the Playmates one will be too small to work with him. Another Santa's Little Helper pack-in for this wave is here, as Suds McDuff from "Old Yeller Belly." I wasn't a fan of the episode, but the pooch looks great in his Hawaiian shirt and shades, along with good paint and swivels for the neck and tail.

Duffman's box, unlike the others, says he's for ages 21 and up and "not a toy." I'm guessing Super7 thought they had to put that there since he's a booze mascot, as he is a toy, and one well-made enough that little kids could play with him no issue. I'll admit I don't like him as much as the others in the wave, but the novelty of him is just great. Oh yeah!
