Marvel Legends - Infinite Series Reviews
Warbow
Marvel Legends - Infinite Series (Hasbro) - Executioner Series
Rated 4.75 stars by Karl T. Face
Lightning has struck twice! I knew Marvel Legends was leaning into the obscurities lately- Death's Head, Frog, Sleepwalker- but new Saga of Crystar merchandise was a real surprise. I suppose a retool was in order (where else are they gonna reuse those molds?), and this one made the most sense. Captain Warbow is obviously a crossbowman- and, in fact, the reason the evil wizard Zardeth only has one eye. Warbow lost his a moment later, because Zardeth is petty. Dude's also got a crush on Crystar's gal. Poor guy can't catch a break. At least he gets a few new parts. The head is new, obviously, and looks quite nice with the strong jaw and unusual eyepatch- more of a sling, really. The belt is simpler this time around, and the hands are bare. A bandolier (or perhaps sash, since they look...[See More]
Psylocke vs Thanos
Marvel Legends - Infinite Series (Hasbro) - Gamerverse
Rated 4.50 stars by Toasted Brains
Capcom has had a notable history with Marvel fighting games, first starting off with X-Men, and then a game with various Marvel characters. It soon led to having Marvel's heroes take on the Street Fighter universe, and then more of Capcom's characters, creating one of the most iconic fighting games/crossovers of all time. There have been a handful of Marvel vs. Capcom collectibles over the years, and the most recent are part of Hasbro's "Gamerverse" sub-line for Legends. The first release was a Target exclusive, pitting Psylocke against Thanos. The packaging is a window box, and a very cool one at that. The box has a dark, starry purple motif with pixel art character names on the front. The sides have not only the names and photos of the figures, but portraits similar to the first MvC....[See More]

It's an great 2 pack. Peak psylocke, been waiting years for mvc version. Thanos has lots of hate but I think it's a good figure for it's reference.
Sleepwalker
Marvel Legends - Infinite Series (Hasbro) - Rintrah Series
Rated 4.75 stars by Karl T. Face
Ironically (appropriately?), I'm pretty tired as I write this. Sleepwalker is an odd character. One of a whole race of such beings, he alone managed to get stuck in a human mind while patrolling the Dreamscape for ne'er-do-wells. Able to enter the physical realm so long as his college-student host remains asleep, he mostly inadvertently scared the hell out of the populace, but still got the job done with his reality-warping powers. His series relied somewhat heavily on guest stars, which is exactly the bad sign it sounds like. I dunno, I loved him. Just a weird monster-hero weirding it up in the corner of the Marvel U. The art in particular was interesting, playing as it did with the dreamlike nature of his powers. And amid the sounds of Hasbro finally scraping clean through the bottom...[See More]
Cabal 3-Pack
Marvel Legends - Infinite Series (Hasbro) - Marvel 85th Anniversary
Rated 4.00 stars by Wes68
The Cabal 3 pack brings together some notable villains. Whether this pack resonates with you will largely come down to whether or not you either already own the figures; or your personal preference for one figure over another. From my perspective for example? I have no real attachment to or knowledge of Iron Patriot. I do now of course learning that it is essentially Norman Osborn in Iron Man armor. This pack does reuse a lot of things. The Iron Patriot appears to be a reuse of the Iron Man Extremis armor. There may be some new sculpting, and the Norman head is new. So if you have a retro Goblin? You can use the Norman head on him. So let's talk about Taskmaster next. Taskmaster may offer the most bang for your buck. He uses a newer vulcan body versus the prior Bucky Cap body. His...[See More]
Crystar
Marvel Legends - Infinite Series (Hasbro) - Void Series
Rated 5.00 stars by Karl T. Face
If you cherry-pick this line as severely as me, your choice this time is clear. Crystar is one of those oddballs that's eked by on guest appearances and miniseries for like 25 years. A sword-and-sorcery adventure filled with strong character arcs, fun designs, and a bit of a throwback feel even then. Our protagonist here was one of two princes, turned into mineral through various magics, and forbidden to ascend the throne until they stop trying to kill each other. I won't go into it all, but the story is great; it's just lousy with infodumping. Credit where it's due, Hasbro has delivered what I believe to be 100% new sculpt. And they did not skimp, covering every inch with multiple facets. The art in the comic wavers a tad, but this seems to be taken from one of the splash pages, with the...[See More]
Iron Man (Model 70)
Marvel Legends - Infinite Series (Hasbro) - Controller Series
Rated 5.00 stars by ScarecrowGOF
This is a great Iron man action figure. This is my first marvel legends figure I have bought and it's very good. The articulation is good, as well.is the sculpting and paint. The accessories are great and work well with the figure. This is a great Iron Man to get if you have many iron man figures or if you have non and are looking for a starting place. I definitely recommend...[See More]
M.O.D.O.K.
Marvel Legends - Infinite Series (Hasbro) - Deluxe
Rated 4.90 stars by Toasted Brains
Alright, I’ll admit it. I’m not a big Marvel guy. If anything, I’m more into DC. Though that said, I have been eyeing some of the Marvel figures Hasbro has to offer. The upcoming animated X-Men figures look awesome (having only just started watching the show helps), and I regret not getting the Pulse-exclusive Venom. But one that’s been interesting me for a while is the Marvel Legends M.O.D.O.K. I’ve seen him a couple times at retailers, but it wasn’t until last month that I finally caved in and got him. M.O.D.O.K. is packaged in a rather interesting way, he comes disassembled! The front and back sides of the figure, the legs, hair, and thruster are all separated in the box, but it’s not too hard to put him together. I struggled a bit getting the hair in, but the way to do it is slide it...[See More]
Spider-Man (Stark Tech Suit)
Marvel Legends - Infinite Series (Hasbro) - Vulture Flight Gear Series
Rated 4.80 stars by AlexOviedo
Stark tech Spider-Man it's probably the best figure from his wave, the figure it's extremely detailed, the sculpted it's very well made and the wash of very dark blue over the body gives an special touch. About the bad points, I don't know if it's only on my figure, but the left arm is very loose and the main head has wide eyes and in the movie the eyes are a little bit closed, this review has ended, I recommend you to buy this figure if you are a collector, have a great day!...[See More]
Hulk
Marvel Legends - Infinite Series (Hasbro) - Thanos Series
Rated 3.50 stars by kingdiegond
For the Age of Ultron, Marvel Legends released just three characters from the movie. Movie versions of Captain America, Iron Man and Hulk where released in the Thanos wave, in 2015. Of these, Hulk is the best one. As expected, the figure is bulk as the character, but, comparing with the other figures from the line, could be even bigger. It has the right proportions, a terrific head sculp and great details. Even the pants have texture. The paint could be a little better. There's almost no paint work, it's just green and purple plastic. The shades of green skin we seen in the screen are not matched in this figure, unfortunately. The articulations are okay. The ball joints in the hips don't work fine, but the rest is acceptable. The figure has no accessories beyond the arm of Thanos BAF....[See More]
Soldiers of A.I.M. (Baron Zemo)
Marvel Legends - Infinite Series (Hasbro) - Mandroid Series
Rated 3.50 stars by kingdiegond
Being released in 2013, as part of Mandroid Series, Baron Zemo (Soldier of A.I.M.???) is one more figure to use the Bucky Cap mold (who has been used a thousand times since then). To be honest, a character with the relevance of Zemo deserved a better figure. Being fair, the Bucky mold fits well this time. It has good proportions and an atletic average built. The lines of the mask are well sculpted. It has a removable harness with two holsters with guns. It would be awesome if the guns could be removable from the holters, but they are sculpted into it! The paintwork is sloppy. No shadowing effects, colours that don't match with the comic character, and the purple ink barely cover the yellow plastic of the forearms. On the other hand, the articulations work fine, a fact who justify the...[See More]
