 Man, what a great comment! Thank you so much for the encouragement! I'm still pretty new to all of this. And that is some real cosmic synchronicity. I love sewing. I go through different phases of being interested in different crafts and a couple years back I really got into making my own clothes. The result is that now I have a room full of weird materials to play with. I've been surprised how often I use my sewing stuff in customizing. Keep it up!

This is such a a difficult thing, and I've been trying lots of different ideas lately myself. Depending on your needs, I've had success with cosclay, but only when I can attach it after baking it. Also craft foam sheets 1mm-2mm thick has worked for me as well, but this also needs some experimentation
