Ok my Ahab arrived. He just emphasises how good this custom is. He looks terrible. I mean he's not, Neca does good figures considering mass production and all. But this custom rendition is on a whole different level. Inspiring!

I am completely stunned by how good this is. I'm a huge fan of the original two Predator films, with the creatures by Stan Winston and crew. But in the later films, products etc they never quite seemed to nail the aesthetic quite so well again. Never been a huge fan of the comics or other stuff, and so I never paid much attention to the non P1-2 Necas. Never gave Ahab a second glance. Until now. How the heck did you do the dread bling? Tiny little jewellery findings or something? Genius!! The bluish verdigris effect on the armour- Freakin awesome. And as for the skin and repaint of the netting- I take my hat off and bang my head on the floor to you sir. I nearly ran out and bought an Ahab- then I realised he would look nothing like this. Major utter unconditional respect. You made this guy look like he comes straight out of Stan Winston's Creature Shop.
