For all the armor we were getting in the Iron Man 2 line, I was shocked they didn't release this version of Whiplash. It seemed like a given. We got his early movie look, but not this one. I've wanted to make it ever since, and even considered the same, simple approaches everyone else was taking. Just grabbing the Assault Drone, popping on the head, and giving it a repaint. He already has whips. But Whiplash is supposed to be much larger, and I wanted to nail that part. In that way, I like this piece. The armor came out great. Head ended up fitting a little off, though. I'm sure there's some reworking that will fix that, though. For now, I'm happy with it. It was days upon days to get him finished.

I've had this 5" knockoff body for so long that I don't remember where it came from anymore. I just remember it being a rough looking knockoff. Fully resculpted it, top to bottom, to turn it into armor. Head and whips were from Whiplash. Full repaint, and all done!
