I heard about this appearance before I got to the movie, but I didn't really believe it. I've seen Channing Tatum photoshopped to look like Gambit so many times over the years, I thought it was just another one of those. Imagine my surprise. As much as I love seeing a live action Gambit, I'm also not super wild about this portrayal. And that has nothing to do with Tatum. I know he can nail the accent, and he looked great in the fight scenes. It was the writing. I didn't care for them turning him into a joke character. We'll get a fully comic accurate Gambit someday. Still holding out for him to be a major player in the eventual X-Men movie.

Head was from a GI Joe ROC Duke, with the head piece and hair resculpted. Hands were from a BossFight male blank. Sculpted the boots, knees, sleeves, entire jacket, and full torso. Staff was from a BossFight figure, I think. Full repaint, and all done!
