After competing her training, Taya Valkyrie quickly made a name for herself on the Canadian independent wrestling circuit before moving to Mexico and getting signed with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), where she became a four-time AAA Reina de Reinas Champion. Taya also competed in Lucha Underground, where she gained significant popularity, as a member of Johnny Mundo's Worldwide Underground faction.
In 2017, she joined Impact Wrestling, where she became the longest-reigning Impact Knockouts Champion and a two-time Impact Knockouts World Tag Team Champion. Taya briefly appeared in WWE under the ring name Franky Monet in 2021. In 2023, she signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and continues to be a prominent figure in professional wrestling.
