This Mutant Leader from The Dark Knight Returns is only $11 on Amazon if anyone is interested. I picked one up and he looks quite cool plus the torch and crowbar accessories are pretty sweet. He's a generic enough looking villain that would fit right in with any TMNT or Conan the Barbarian display.
Not sure why this set was released, or if it has any improvements over the 2002 individual carded figures? Can anyone tell me why I should consider adding this to my collection seeing how I already have multiple Kirks and Spocks. I even have more than one McCoy at this point so I don't know if there is a good reason to get this or not. Besides being a completest, what would be the benefit of adding this set?
Question with this toy. There were numerous copies of this toy distributed... but it seems that there was just a handful of this specific toy that had red coloring on its left sword. I'm not sure if it was intentionally placed there initially and they decided to take it out, maybe with some concerns for it or could be just some error, But does anyone know anything more about the history of it?
Just took a quick look on eBay and both versions seem readily available with little difference in price. McFarlane Toys tended to do this sort of thing a lot back in the early 2000's to create variants. https://www.ebay.com/sch/I.html?_from=R ... r&_sacat=0
