The heterosexual lifemate of Jay, Silent Bob is far more than the sum of Jay's nicknames for him ("Lunchbox", "Tubby", "Fat-ass", etc.). The nearly-speechless half of the Somnombulic Duo, Bob's chief purpose n life is to make sure Jay lives through another twenty-four hours - no easy feat, that. Always in tow (but only deceptively so), Bob's expressions usually don't mask very well his chagrin toward his partner's antics or comments. In face, every arched eyebrow, every wrinkled brow, & every wide-eyed mouth-gape reveal him to be a sort of "Greek Chorus" to whatever action he and Jay are witnessing.

Known for his sage-like advice to the forlorn, Silent Bob is the proverbial "quiet-type" - the guy who says so little, that any syllable uttered impacts like a hundred foot stage-dive. And as for extra curricular activities? Well, this cat's been known to bust a move - in front of stores, in diners, anywhere there's even a hint of music. Small wonder his secret desire has always been to be a dancer in Vegas.
