| Harvey "Two-Face" Dent Custom Action Figure | It is as though some greater power descended upon us and gave to us this gift of thy "clint barton alternate head from the hml twin-pack ronin figure" so that we may so effortlessly create our own movie masters two-face. Seriously, its like the dude who sculpted it did it just for us. I just slapped some paint on that piece, and was like "aww..Dizzang!" I'm just saying, imo, that head sculpt (at least half of it,) looks more like aaron eckhart, than the official matty one does...Snap.
Anyways, I was really surprised how quickly this project moved. I litterally started this thing yesterday afternoon. Now, I know I still need to chang out his hands, but I can't figure out how to pop them out without rippping the peg. Most of the work (obviously,) went into sculpting the "toasty" side of his face. I stated out by drilling out original eye, shaving half his head, and and taking his face down to the skull. I made sure to keep intact the high parts of his face, the cheek bones, brow ridge, and jaw line, so that I wouldn't lose his overall contour. I also made sure not to add to said high points for the same reasons. I then built out the denture sphere and worked from the inside out using magic sculpt.
The only other major thing I had to do aside from the tie and jacket burns, was to add lenght and girth (hehe) to the neck so his head would sit at a proper height. I repainted the entire head and body using golden open acrylics and a limited color pallet.
Overall I'm pretty happy with it considering I finished this so fast. Usually something like this can drag on for weeks if I let it. I have glossed the eye, mouth area, and open wounds after I took the pictures, but I like the lighting better in these. Hope y'all like it. Let me know what you think. -Bless |
