VariablePenguin4.50 StarsWhen I saw this figure in the store I thought, "That is the best Archangel figure I've ever seen."
I wasn't wrong. The figure has a flawless paint job, which is saying a lot because his costume is very intricate. The figure has the higher standard articulation (hinged fingers!). If only they'd do this to all of those female figures...

There are only a few problems. His fingers have some serio. . . MORE
modern_messiah4.50 StarsWarren Worthington the third, all round pretty boy and rich kid. A mutant since birth, Warren produced large angel-like wings which sprouted form his shoulder blades, and became a superhero, calling himself the Avenging Angel. This attracted the attention of Professor Charles Xavier. He was one of the founding members of the X-men and was given the nickname Angel. As the years progressed, the X-me. . . MORE

I'm actually reviewing the version with the Cat-head. On first look I thought he looked just like a good piece of fodder, until I opened the package: This is a very nice figure.
The areas of articulation are plentiful and well placed. I always like when a figure can bend their feet at their toes and their hands at their fingers. The sculpting on this figure is very well done. The detail on h. . . MORE

Magneto

I haven't seen very many variations of Magneto's suits so I'm always interested whenever one pops up, like this one from the new 6-inch X-Men line. It's always nice to see what a character looks like in different outfits. Imagine Wolverine in a suit or Rogue in a bikini? Niiiiiice ;D I hope someone out there makes an "Age of Apocalypse" Magneto where he has the long white beard and more muscle.

Dr Nightmare5.00 StarsNow, I know many of you (apparently a TON of you) prefer Storm in her black full-body suit, and also in her skimpy one-piece black suit with the tiara or the mohawk version of her, and that's fine, but I'm telling you you're wrong! The classic white full-body suit was the greatest, is the greatest, and will forever continue to be the greatest Storm suit in existence! It is elegant and stylish, jus. . . MORE
VariablePenguin3.50 StarsMy first impressions of this figure were not good. The package it was in was almost torn in half to start with. When I looked at the figure I saw another victim of over-washing. She may have had a white costume at one time, but the only part that was white on her anymore was her ridiculously huge hair. This figure was made to be repainted.

All that aside, I really like the sculpt. The line. . . MORE

it's been three years since this figure has been released and yet it remains as one of my favorite figures..

+: solid articulation, great sculpt, AWESOME accessories especially the three bladed sword..
-: out of scale with 6" figures (most wolverines from this line are)

*this figure might not be for everyone though since this Wolverine looks like he has a body that's better suited for tall muscu. . . MORE

This figure suffered the same initial problem as Storm: The box was folding in half almost. Looking at the figure, it looked pretty cool. It was Wolverine with some wicked looking claws AND a gun AND nightvision goggles. Pretty neat.
Got him open and I was confused. Why are his gloves different lengths? and different colors? Thinking about it, doesn't he have a little too much light blue and. . . MORE

Man do I love this figure he rocks!! I really love the fact that you can move each finger separately!! Once you take off his shades he’s got a gorges face far better than his marvel legends counterpart on that note his wings are also ten times better they look more like wings, were as the other ones look more like a saucer than wings!! Although they are made from black plastic so they tend to chip. . . MORE

Juggernaut

I haven't seen a Juggernaut made that I like yet, the ML one was out of proportion and older Jugg figs were just awful. This XMC version looks pretty cool, but it's not the "standard" brown suit, it's more like a "what if instead of a magically enhanced dude, Juggernaut was a guy in a high-powered armored suit?" kind of design. He kinda looks like Onslaught...or a cockroach...a really ugly one...

TMB3.50 StarsXmen series 3 Avalanche. First off this figure stands almost 7" tall, if you count the individual finger movement this figure has 37 poa. The color of his outfit is pretty cool Dark blue with black and copper accents. The strange thing is the rock like helmet, gauntlets, knees and outer thighs. The face on this creep is pretty cool, he looks pretty mad about something (Probably his Shocker-esque vi. . . MORE
Dr Nightmare5.00 StarsI don't know much about Avalanche but this guy has such an narly suit! It's definitely much more detailed and fitting than the old blue/silver suit I've seen him in.

Avalanche stands almost 6.75 inches tall! The dude is huge! I'm not sure if he should be that tall but he looks great! The suit's design is very appropriate for a guy who can crumble entire mountains into the sea. The main suit is . . . MORE

First of all, what the hell!? I don't know who the dorks are that decided to make colossus a 10-foot tall behemoth but they need to be shot and tranquilized and then shot again. Every time I saw Colossus in the comics he was a tall muscular guy, but nothing like this bulky monster! He looks too old, looks stronger than Hulk, and he's bigger than Thor! That's where I draw the line. If some Colossus. . . MORE
